As an incoming 1st round draft pick for the Houston Rockets and a recently completed Summer League, how have you adjusted to the whirlwind first month in the league?

Was the draft process all you expected? What sticks out in your mind as the highlight?

The draft process was everything I expected it to be. It was long but a lot of work put in. I’d have to say the highlight that sticks out to me was being at AAU tournaments the last few weeks and having Carmelo Anthony and CP3 actually approach and congratulate me. It was sort of crazy that they knew me.. The NBA really is a brotherhood.

You spent one year at the renowned University of Kentucky, between all the demands of your academic and team schedule did you have time to begin to build your pre-game style and how would you describe it?

Not really, I just knew what clothes I liked. I always kept it simple and comfy while still showing a little bit of swag.

Do you have a stylist and how do you envision your overall NBA game-day style to look like?

I don’t have a stylist and I haven’t thought about it too much but in my first year, I think I’m going to stick to comfort but also make it nice.

What are your first impressions of the Rockets organization and city of Houston?

My first impression of the Rockets organization is that it’s a fantastic organization with great young talent. As far as the city, it’s fun and I’m super excited to be here.

  

Who are you looking forward to matching up against?

I’m looking forward to matching up against Dalen Terry because we’re both from Phoenix. We started off playing on the same team back home so its cool to see us at the NBA level. It’ll be fun. And also Lebron, because he’s Unc.

If you could custom design one piece of clothing from your most ideal fit, what would it be?

It would probably be a hoodie because I like rocking them and I feel like I could do something fire with it.
