What’s your impression of the league’s fashion-scape so far?
I think it's great because so many guys have different style throughout the league.
If you could design one piece of clothing, what would it be and why?
If I could design one piece of clothing, it would definitely be a hoodie. It would be a unique piece that could be the focal point of my fit (and super comfy).
What’s your preferred way to travel from city to city (fit wise)?
The only way I travel is in a full Cozy fit. I have to be super comfortable anytime I am travelling city to city.
How’s the transition been from college life to NBA rookie?
The transition has been great in every way possible. I loved my time at Texas, but now its time to take my craft to another level in the league.
The Pelicans are one of the NBA’s youngest teams. Are you guys taking any style pointers from the vets on the team?
We have one of the best dressed teams in the league, so I definitely think the vets set a high precedent with their fashion. With that being said, I try to stay in my own lane and wear things that I personally love every day.
Do you have a personal stylist? If so, how do you collaborate on pre-game looks?
Yes, Daniel Solomon (Solo) is my personal shopper and stylist. We work on pregame fits usually on a weekly basis together, but sometimes I like to change things up last minute depending on how I am feeling that day.
Your father played in the NFL, does he have any advice on how to handle your looks off the court?
He played professionally in a very different time, so obviously fashion has changed with that. He always looks professional and I try to do the same.
